Chinese Consul General in Calgary Zhao Liying Holds Talks with Political and Business Circles of Saskatchewan Province

On February 22 and 23, 2026, Consul General Zhao Liying met with officials from Saskatchewan provincial ministries of agriculture, economy and trade, energy and other sectors in Regina, Saskatchewan, and held talks and exchanges with representatives from the SaskOilseeds, Saskatchewan Cattle Association, Chinese Entrepreneurs Association, as well as senior executives of local enterprises.

Consul General Zhao stated that the Consulate is ready to work with Saskatchewan Province to advance the implementation of the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, deepen practical cooperation in economy and trade, agriculture, energy, education and other fields, promote exchanges between sister provinces and sister cities, and bring benefits to the people of both countries.
