Park Closed January 10, 2025 - Delayed Opening January 11

Murfreesboro, Tennessee - The Stones River National Battlefield management team has decided to close the park on Friday January 10, 2025 in response to forecasts of 4-6 inches of snow that will create hazardous driving conditions for the staff and public. A delayed opening of the park visitor center is scheduled for noon on Saturday January 11, 2025 to allow staff to assess and address hazards.

Visitors can expect the tour road and other sites accessed by vehicles to remain closed until snow/ice has melted or been removed. Updates of closures and restored access will be posted on the park's website and Facebook page.
