Update #1: Full Road Closure at the intersection of South Lois Avenue and West Platt Street

The intersection of South Lois Avenue and West Platt Street is now closed as the Tampa Water Department returns to complete a more permanent restoration following earlier work to repair a water main break. Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with traffic flow. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5pm each day and then close again the following morning at 9am to continue the work. Please use caution when driving in the area.

Road restoration activities are expected to be completed by 5pm, Thursday, October 24, at which time the road will be reopened for normal traffic flow. Restoration schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
