Fargo, N.D. - April 16, 2026 - The USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) today announced the appointment of five leaders in agriculture to serve on the North Dakota USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) state committee.
Members of the FSA state committee are appointed by Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins and, in support of the Trump Administration's Farmers First commitment, members of the FSA state committee are responsible for the oversight of farm programs and county committee operations, resolving program delivery appeals from the agriculture community, maintaining cooperative relations with industry stakeholders and keeping producers informed about current FSA programs.
Each FSA state committee is comprised of three to five members including a designated chairperson. The individuals appointed to serve on this committee for North Dakota are:

Erika Jo Kenner, Chair (Leeds) - Kenner is a lifelong North Dakota farmer and rancher who helps operate a diversified grain and livestock operation that includes small grains, corn, soybeans, and a large, registered Simmental herd in Leeds, North Dakota. She is actively involved in the daily management of approximately four hundred fifty registered cows and a substantial grain enterprise, and she helps lead an annual production sale that markets more than one hundred bulls and dozens of bred heifers each year.

Dustin Johnsrud, Member (Epping) - Johnsrud is a grain producer who farms durum, winter wheat, spring wheat, and canola while raising a young family on his multigeneration operation. He recently completed service as the district 2 representative on the North Dakota Wheat Commission and serves on the Steering Committee of the U.S. Wheat and Barley Scab Initiative, in addition to serving on the Ray High School Board.

Jeremy Kihne, Member (Mayville) - Kihne is a third-generation farmer who manages wheat, corn, soybeans, oats, hay, sugar beets, alfalfa and beef cattle operation. He has extensive experience in crop production and livestock management, including feed preparation, bale production, and grazing plans.

Daniel Price, Member (Center) - Price is a lifelong cattle producer who manages multiple integrated operations, including a large cow calf, feedlot, and backgrounding operation. He has decades of experience in livestock management, genetics, nutrition, marketing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, along with work in corn genetics, international livestock negotiations, and long-term business development.

Barton Schott, Member (Kulm) - Schott is a third-generation farmer who has spent nearly five decades raising corn, soybeans, and barley while also operating a certified seed business. His background reflects a lifetime of crop production, conservation minded management practices, and service to the agricultural community. He has held influential leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels, including service as president of the National Corn Growers Association and longtime involvement in conservation, farm policy, and community organizations across the state.
"These individuals, selected by Secretary Rollins in partnership with key stakeholders in each state, are held in high regard in the agriculture industry and are entrusted to ensure FSA programs are delivered in a manner consistent with federal farm policy and in the best interest of all agricultural producers in their state," said FSA Administrator Bill Beam.
