New online Public Information Request system
The City of Lewisville has a new online Public Information Request system to better assist residents who submit and track public information requests.
The new system, JustFOIA, replaces the previous GovQA system and provides a modern, user-friendly portal.
Residents who have pending requests through GovQA do not need to take any action. Those requests will remain active and will continue to be processed by City staff until they are completed. Staff will continue communicating with requestors regarding any updates or additional information needed to fulfill those requests.
All new public information requests need to be submitted through the "Open Government" page where residents can access the new JustFOIA portal and learn more about the request process.
The transition to JustFOIA reflects the City's ongoing commitment to providing efficient, transparent, and responsive access to public information while enhancing customer experience.
