Science on Tap: 'Will it or won’t it? Challenges of volcano forecasting', Sept. 25
The UAA Department of Biological Sciences invites students and employees to kick of the semester with this month's Science on Tap, hosted by Turnagain Brewing, to hear from UAA's Dr. Skye Kushner as he gives his talk "Will it or won't it? Challenges of volcano forecasting."
Now that Mt. Spurr is back down to color code green, let's talk about what it means to monitor an Alaska volcano and some of the challenges associated with understanding volcanoes in remote locations.
