Rep. Chris Miller Issues Budget React Statement

Springfield, IL…State Representative Chris Miller (R-Hindsboro) issued the following statement after Governor JB Pritzker delivered his annual State of the State and Budget Address to the General Assembly today:

"Today's budget address was a slap in the face to all taxpayers and businesses across the state of Illinois and JB Pritzker is responsible for the radical policies that have turned our state upside down," said Miller. "Since Pritzker has been in office, we have seen forty-nine tax hikes enacted, billions wasted on illegal immigrants and NGO's, and budgets that have ballooned beyond reasonable measures to the point where taxpayers are now Pritzker's number one source of revenue to cover the bills of unchecked spending within the Governor's administration."
