UK Border Arrivals Survey: year ending March 2026

The UK Border Arrivals Survey measures travellers' experiences and perceptions at the UK border. Based on 9,632 interviews conducted at 11 ports of entry, this report presents findings for the year ending March 2026.

Overall satisfaction remained high, reaching 92% in the latest quarter, and travellers reported positive experiences of Border Force officers and digital border services. However, confidence in border security fell from 82% to 75% over the year. Open-text responses suggest that wider concerns about perceived threats at the border influenced interviewees more than travellers' direct experiences at the border.
