Legacy Restoration Fund Reauthorization Supports Critical Investments, Accessibility for Public Lands

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The America the Beautiful Act, introduced by Senators Steve Daines (R-Mont.) and Angus King (I-Maine), will reauthorize the Legacy Restoration Fund through 2033, providing continued support for wildlife, outdoor recreation, and local economies by helping to reduce maintenance backlogs on the nation's public lands. The National Wildlife Federation applauded the U.S. Senate for approving the legislation and urged members of the House of Representatives to swiftly do the same to ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy America's public lands.
