Associated General Contractors of America’s Political Action Committee Endorses U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan

Construction Industry's Election Fund, the AGC PAC, Contributes in Support of the Sullivan Campaign, Noting His Strong Backing of Key Construction Issues

The Associated General Contractors of America's political action committee, AGC PAC, announced today that the committee has endorsed Senator Dan Sullivan for reelection. AGC PAC officials said they are supporting his campaign because of his strong commitment to the construction industry in Alaska.

"Senator Sullivan has a proven record of supporting policies that help small businesses grow, create jobs, and strengthen the economy," said Jeffrey D. Shoaf, treasurer of AGC PAC. "As a Marine Corps veteran and former senior state and federal official, Senator Sullivan brings decades of leadership and public service experience, along with a strong commitment to Alaska's workers, businesses, and communities."

In addition to endorsing Senator Sullivan, AGC PAC has contributed the maximum amount of $10,000 to his campaign. The committee is also encouraging the association's members in Alaska to turn out the construction vote in support of his candidacy in the general election on Nov. 3, 2026.

Throughout his time in the Senate, Sullivan has supported critical infrastructure investments, including the $7 billion recapitalization of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, one of the largest military construction projects in Alaska's history.

"Senator Sullivan understands the important role construction plays in Alaska's economy and the challenges our industry faces every day," said Alicia Kresl, executive director of AGC of Alaska. "His work to advance Coast Guard and military infrastructure like the base project, strengthen Alaska's skilled workforce and training opportunities, streamline federal permitting, and support responsible energy development is helping create opportunities for contractors and workers across the state."

AGC is the association for the commercial construction industry, with 640 member companies in its Alaska chapter, representing general and specialty contractors, service providers, and suppliers. This endorsement comes from AGC PAC, the national association's political action committee.
