ONE YEAR OF ZIONIST ISRAELI REGIME’S ATROCITIES TOWARDS PALESTINE

ONE YEAR OF ZIONIST ISRAELI REGIME'S ATROCITIES TOWARDS PALESTINE

Last October's tragedy, marking a full year of relentless violence, serves as a grim reminder of the unbroken cycle of brutality inflicted upon the Palestinian people. In the past year alone, the Zionist Israeli regime has killed on average 115 Palestinians daily and wounded 274 more - mostly innocent elderly, women, and children. Entire communities have been obliterated, and vast areas of Gaza are now uninhabitable. The world cannot continue to turn a blind eye to these lost lives and stolen futures.

The Zionist Israeli regime's relentless campaign of violence and oppression continues unabated, despite numerous negotiations, United Nations resolutions, and the International Court of Justice's Advisory Opinion, which have yet to produce any tangible outcome. The regime remains defiant, committing genocidal acts, expanding illegal settlements, destroying essential infrastructure, and now carrying out violations against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon.

Nowhere in the world should breaches of international law, international humanitarian law, and human rights law, including acts of genocide and war crimes, go unpunished. Only Israel is able to act with impunity and suffer no consequences. Israel today cannot hide behind its history to commit its own slaughter of Palestinians.

This is unacceptable and all nations must immediately put a stop to this insanity.

The international community had vowed after the last World War that never shall the world see another great tragedy of humanity but here we are, once again, staring down into the precipice of atrocities and ethnic cleansing in the 21st century.

Malaysia therefore calls on the international community to unite, take bold and decisive action, and hold the Zionist Israeli regime accountable for all its heinous crimes. The time for action is long overdue.

Malaysia reaffirms its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and the establishment of an independent State of Palestine based on pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and will work tirelessly with like-minded nations to secure Palestine's full membership in the United Nations.
