February 10 Winter Storm Fern Update

The Nashville Office of Emergency Management (OEM) Emergency Operations Center (EOC) remains activated as the city continues coordinated recovery efforts following Winter Storm Fern.

OEM is actively supporting the Disaster Assistance Centers (DACs), which opened today to provide residents impacted by the storm with access to resources, guidance, and in-person assistance. The centers serve as centralized locations where community members can connect with Metro agencies and partner organizations for recovery support.

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Saturday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Some available services include:

  • Health and wellness services
  • Mental health and crisis support
  • Employment and insurance assistance
  • Resource referrals and case management
  • Animal wellness services
  • Help navigating forms and HUB requests

Residents do not need an appointment to visit a center.

OEM is also continuing to support the Nashville VOAD and partner agencies coordinating relief efforts across the county. These collaborative efforts remain focused on identifying community needs, connecting residents to available services, and promoting a steady path toward recovery.

Available Resources

  • VOAD, The United Way of Greater Nashville, and Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee announced The Winter Weather Recovery Fund for individuals and families affected by winter storm Fern to apply for relief.

    Funds will be used as needed to address current needs and emerging needs, such as food and supplies. In the coming days, once community needs can be assessed, funds will be used for cleanup and debris removal.
