Governor Newsom Has Signed Two of Assemblymember Michelle Rodriguez’s Bills into Law

SACRAMENTO, CA - Assemblymember Michelle Rodriguez (D - Ontario) announced today two of her bills have been signed into law, advancing her commitment to accessibility, affordability, and efficiency for Californians.

"Thank you to Governor Newsom for understanding these new laws reflect practical, commonsense solutions that will make life easier and more affordable for working families," said Assemblymember Rodriguez. "It gives me pride to close out my first year as an Assemblymember knowing we have delivered meaningful results for the 53rd Assembly District and for the people of California."

The two bills signed into law were:

Assembly Bill 391 - Allows the Mobilehome Residency Law to be electronically delivered to residents if they elect to stop receiving physical copies.

Assembly Bill 498 - Simplifies the process of sending lien notices to self-storage tenants by allowing operators to use third party verification.

"I am committed to continue my work to make California more affordable and accessible for everyone," said Assemblymember Rodriguez.
