Lane Shifts on SR 1 at Holland Glade Road
Rehoboth Beach - ; The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that beginning Monday, October 21, 2025, a full lane shift of SR 1 northbound and southbound will be implemented at the intersection with Holland Glade Road to allow work in the median area as part of ongoing intersection improvements. As part of this work, the Bike/Bus Lane will be temporarily closed.
The lane shift is expected to remain in place for approximately 28 days, with all lanes anticipated to be restored prior to the start of the holiday shopping season.
Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and expect minor delays.
