The Ashtabula County Board of Commissioners and Ashtabula County Sheriff William Niemi is pleased to announce the launch of a new webpage dedicated to providing residents with timely and accurate information regarding the Ashtabula County Public Safety Center Project.
The new site will serve as a central hub for project updates, construction timelines, budget information, meeting information, frequently asked questions, and opportunities for public input. Visitors will be able to follow the progress of the expansion from planning to completion and stay informed about milestones along the way.
"Our goal is to ensure transparency and keep our community informed every step of the way," said the Board of Commissioners in a joint statement. "The jail expansion is a significant project for the county, and we want residents to have easy access to accurate, up-to-date information."
Sheriff William Niemi said "Keeping our community safe is my top priority, and that includes being transparent about the steps we're taking to improve our local facilities. This webpage will be a valuable resource for sharing information about the jail project. It's important to me that the public stays informed as this project moves forward."
In addition to regular progress reports once construction commences, the website will include photos, videos, and important notices related to the project. The County will also post meeting schedules, public hearing dates, and ways for residents to submit feedback or questions.
The website is now live and can be accessed at www.ashtabulacounty.us/publicsafetycenter.
