Escambia County invites the community to a cleanup day for Good Hope/Mt. Zion Cemetery on Saturday, April 11, hosted by the University of West Florida Graduate Anthropology Association and the Archaeology Institute.
The cleanup will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the cemetery, located near 4130 Barrancas Ave. Volunteers are asked to come prepared to work outdoors, with closed-toed shoes and gloves strongly recommended. District 2 Commissioner Mike Kohler's Office will join the cleanup on behalf of Escambia County.
Parking is limited, and participants are asked to be respectful of neighboring businesses.
