Columbia Police respond to vehicle crash into residence on Stevendave Drive

(COLUMBIA, MO)-

At about 6:30 p.m. April 3, Columbia Police responded to multiple calls regarding a disturbance in the 4500 block of Stevendave Drive. Officers found that a vehicle driven by Cassandra Albright, 29, of Kingdom City, had crashed into a residence occupied by four children and two adults.

Through their investigation, officers found Albright had left the scene and had crashed her vehicle into a trailer and fence in the 2200 block of Murrell Drive. She also had aggressively accelerated toward two juvenile pedestrians in the area.

Albright then ran into a tree in the 4500 block of Waterloo Drive. She was taken to a local hospital with injuries sustained in the crashes. Charges are pending.
