ASPPH extends its congratulations and thanks to the individuals serving on behalf of the association and our member institutions on the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) Board of Councilors. We are pleased to welcome Shan Mohammed from the Northeastern University MPH Program as ASPPH's newly appointed representative, succeeding Mary-Katherine Smith McNatt of A.T. Still University College of Graduate Health Studies, who recently completed her term of service.
Shan Mohammed, of Northeastern University's MPH Program joins three other ASPPH-appointed representatives currently serving on the Board: Muge Akpinar-Elci of the University of Nevada, Reno School of Public Health; Jennifer Ibrahim of Temple University's Barnett College of Public Health; and Kristine Tollestrup of the University of New Mexico's College of Population Health.
We also recognize additional Board members from ASPPH-member schools and programs, including Sondos Islam of Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science's MPH Program in Urban Public Health and Lisa Sullivan of Boston University's School of Public Health, who succeeds Sharonda Wallace of Chamberlain University's MPH Program, also concluding her service. In addition, Jason Coleman of the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences Undergraduate Public Health Program represents an ASPPH Undergraduate Network institution.
ASPPH extends sincere appreciation to Mary-Katherine Smith McNatt and Sharonda Wallace for their dedicated service and leadership, and we wish the entire CEPH Board of Councilors continued success in the year ahead.
