Wyden Statement on International Trade Commission Nominees

Washington, D.C. - Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden, D-Ore., today issued the following statement on Donald Trump's nomination of Samuel Negatu and Bart Thanhauser to serve on the U.S. International Trade Commission:

"I am pleased to see new nominees for the International Trade Commission, including two well-qualified Democrats. Samuel Negatu and Bart Thanhauser each have a long record of public service in both the executive branch and in Congress, along with significant experience working on trade issues of importance to American workers and businesses. I am confident they will be assets to the ITC as it continues to fulfill its mission of enforcing our nation's trade laws and providing independent analysis on issues of trade."
