Get Paid 2X the Amount to Recycle Your Used Lead Batteries: April 25 Only!

Got an old car battery taking space in your garage?

It's time to do something about it.

WHY. Because it's worth it. On April 25 from 8am-12pm, East Penn will host a Power2Recycle event to promote the recycling of lead batteries. This event will feature a drive-through experience so you can return your used car, truck, boat, motorcycle, garden tractor, etc. lead battery-without getting out of your car!

For one day only, you'll receive DOUBLE the standard reimbursement for every qualifying battery you return.

WHERE AND WHEN. This event will be held in the parking lot of our administration building: 95 W State Avenue, Lyon Station, PA 19536. (See map below for more details.) The event will be held on April 25 from 8am-12pm.

HOW. Three easy steps:

1. Drive into the East Penn administration office parking lot and follow posted signs.
2. Stay in your vehicle while our team removes the batteries for you.
3. Get paid 2X the normal rate and be on your way.

WHAT else should you know: To keep the vehicles moving and best service our guests, we ask that you follow these simple rules:

• Bring no more than three batteries per vehicle.
• Bring a valid form of identification to scan.
• Batteries must be golf-car size or smaller (standard car, boat, tractor, and commercial truck batteries are all smaller than a golf car battery).
• No lithium, alkaline, or other battery chemistries besides lead (they are not nearly as recyclable).
• It's a family-friendly event with Power2Recycle gifts for the kids and the chance to learn more about recycling.

This event is about more than extra money.

It's your chance to participate in responsible, closed-loop recycling, and knowing your batteries will be processed just across the street and turned into new ones. Lead batteries are the most recyclable consumer product in the world-when returned properly. This event makes responsible recycling simple, fast, and rewarding.
