Got an old car battery taking space in your garage?
It's time to do something about it.
WHY. Because it's worth it. On April 25 from 8am-12pm, East Penn will host a Power2Recycle event to promote the recycling of lead batteries. This event will feature a drive-through experience so you can return your used car, truck, boat, motorcycle, garden tractor, etc. lead battery-without getting out of your car!
For one day only, you'll receive DOUBLE the standard reimbursement for every qualifying battery you return.
WHERE AND WHEN. This event will be held in the parking lot of our administration building: 95 W State Avenue, Lyon Station, PA 19536. (See map below for more details.) The event will be held on April 25 from 8am-12pm.

This event is about more than extra money.
It's your chance to participate in responsible, closed-loop recycling, and knowing your batteries will be processed just across the street and turned into new ones. Lead batteries are the most recyclable consumer product in the world-when returned properly. This event makes responsible recycling simple, fast, and rewarding.
No appointment needed. Rain or shine (unless conditions are unsafe).
