Cedar Rapids Golf to Host Gardner Golf Course Open House April 29

Cedar Rapids Golf, a division of the Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Department, will host an open house at Gardner Golf Course on Wednesday, April 29 from 1-3 p.m. The event will give golfers and community members an opportunity to tour recent improvements completed at the course and clubhouse.

The open house will highlight completed updates that began last season and continued during the off-season, including a remodeled clubhouse with new siding and windows, an expanded Pro Shop, and a back room designed as a comfortable gathering space for golfers after their rounds. Additional improvements include a new starter shack, updated cart staging area, hitting mats at the driving range, and additional concrete cart paths that improve access to Gardner's practice facilities, including improved accessibility for golfers using the practice areas.

Community members are invited to stop by, explore the updated spaces, and connect with Cedar Rapids Golf staff during the event. Gardner Golf Course is located at 5101 Golf Course Road in Marion.
