Main Street Closed in Downtown Frisco Due to High Water
(June 4, 2025- 6:30 a.m. ) Main St. between John W. Elliott and 2nd St. is closed in both the eastbound and westbound direction in the Rail District due to high water. Avoid driving down Main St. through downtown Frisco during your morning commute.
The water left from overnight storms has not receded enough to allow Main St. to safely reopened at this time. Signage is will alert drivers of the closure and direct them toward detours. Find an alternate route in advance.
Eastbound Main Street detour:
- Southbound on John W Elliott Dr.
- Eastbound Frisco Square Blvd.
- Existing detour signage is in place as part of the existing Main Street construction.
Westbound Main Street detour:
- Southbound on 2nd St.
- Westbound on Elm St.
- Northbound on 1st Street
- Westbound on Frisco Square Blvd.
