Rep. Severin Recognizes Human Trafficking Awareness Month

BENTON, IL - State Rep. Dave Severin says January marks Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

"January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month and a reminder that we all have a role to play in preventing this heinous crime," Severin said. "House Republicans have sponsored legislation to hold offenders accountable, support survivors, and protect victims of human trafficking across Illinois. While our state has made great strides in combating the crime, there is still more that can be done to end it once and for all. This month, we urge all Illinoisans to learn the signs of human trafficking."
