Metro Action Commission Prepares for Expected Winter Weather

The Metropolitan Action Commission (MAC) announced today that all agency buildings will close early on Friday, January 23 in anticipation of incoming winter weather conditions.

Operational Changes for Friday, January 23:

• MAC Head Start and Early Head Start Centers: All preschool centers will operate on their regular schedule for preschool and child care. However, the Head Start aftercare program will be closed.
• MAC Headquarters and Call Center: The agency's main office and call center will close at 4:00 p.m.

MAC is preparing to offer remote services on Monday, depending on weather conditions.

While physical locations may be closed, the online application system will remain available for assistance with utility payments, rent, mortgage, and other emergency needs.

MAC will share updates regarding operational changes on its social media channels and through community announcements in the media.
