Dubuque Trick or Treat Night
Dubuque's Trick or Treat Night is 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.
PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, cornstalks, pumpkins, and a golden moon will herald the cool weather of autumn and the entertaining holiday of Halloween; and
WHEREAS, Halloween is the fun time of year when young and old become creative and emerge as ghosts, devils, witches, cartoon characters, superheroes, and more; and
WHEREAS, all manner of delightful, costumed individuals go from house to house on their annual journey for candy and treats, announcing their arrival with a hearty "Trick or Treat!"
NOW THEREFORE, I, BRAD M. CAVANAGH, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL, STAFF AND RESIDENTS OF DUBUQUE, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2025, AS:
"TRICK OR TREAT NIGHT"
DURING THE HOURS OF 5:30 PM TO 7:30 PM IN THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, AND URGE ALL MOTORIST TO BE WATCHFUL OF OUR YOUNGSTERS MAKING THEIR ANNUAL ROUNDS.
