Lincoln City Libraries Special Events Set For December 6

Published on December 05, 2025

Lincoln City Libraries (LCL) invites community members to special events on Saturday, December 6, at multiple library locations. The schedule is as follows:

Snowplow Santa Visits
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities will partner with Santa Claus and LCL to bring Snowplow Santa to two branches:

  • 10 to 11 a.m. - Eiseley Branch Library, 1530 Superior St.
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Gere Branch Library, 2400 S. 56th St.

Snowplow Santa will greet families in a designated area of each facility parking lot. Following the outdoor visit, each library will host crafts and holiday refreshments inside. In the event of inclement weather, the Snowplow Santa event may be canceled.

Renaissance Faire
LCL will host its first Renaissance Faire from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walt Branch Library, 6701 S. 14th St. The free, family-friendly event will feature themed activities, presentations, demonstrations, craft stations, community booths, musical performances, and a themed storytime. Attendees are encouraged to wear library-appropriate period costumes. No weapons or weapon replicas are permitted.

The program is supported in part by a Staff Innovation Grant provided by the Foundation for Lincoln City Libraries.
