The head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, this morning chaired the meeting of the National Security Council at the Moncloa Palace.

The meeting, which began with a report on the activities of the Situation Committee-a collegiate body supporting the National Security Council-approved the roadmap for strengthening resilience to crises within the framework of the National Security System and addressed initiatives of the National Cybersecurity Council, within the National Cybersecurity Plan, among other matters.

The meeting was attended by the First Vice-President of the Government of Spain and Minister for Treasury, María Jesús Montero; the Second Vice-President of the Government of Spain and Minister for Labour and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz; the Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares; the Minister for the Presidency, Justice and Parliamentary Relations, Félix Bolaños; the Minister for Home Affairs, Fernando Grande-Marlaska; the Minister for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente; the Minister for Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu; the Minister for Economy, Trade and Business, Carlos Cuerpo; the Minister for Health, Mónica García; the Minister for Science, Innovation and Universities, Diana Morant; and the Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Function, Óscar López.
