Henderson Animal Protection Services Celebrates ‘Senior Pet Month’ With Half off Adoptions

Adoption Fees for Pets Seven Years and Older Will Be Half off in November

HENDERSON, Nev. (Oct. 27, 2026) - November is Senior Pet Month and the City of Henderson Animal Protection Services is celebrating with half off adoption fees for pets seven years or older, making it easier than ever to give a senior shelter pet a loving home.

Senior pets may have a few more years behind them, but they still have plenty of love and companionship to give. Often calmer and sometimes already trained, older pets can be a great fit for a variety of lifestyles. By adopting a senior shelter pet, you can provide an older animal with comfort and care throughout their golden years.

Visit Henderson Animal Protection Services located at 300 E. Galleria Dr., Monday - Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed on Sundays and government-recognized holidays). Adoptions are finalized by 4:30 p.m.
