Final Effort Certification for IRIS
Effort Through November 2024:
- Monthly effort through November must be certified by December 13, 2024. This will be your last opportunity to have payroll changes due to effort certification included with the December 2024 payroll.
December 2024 Effort
- IRIS will be available through January 31, 2025 for certifying all effort through December 2024. After the December payroll posts, no further payroll changes will be made in IRIS.
- If you anticipate December effort to be different than the current pay funding distribution, please estimate those changes and submit/approve by the December payroll cutoff (December 13, 2024)
- Once December effort has been certified, the Office of Sponsored Programs will review any differences between the effort certified and the payroll processed. Payroll changes/corrections can only be made in DASH manually and will require additional support documentation.
Beginning January 2025, IRIS will be replaced with the Effort Certification Compliance (ECC) system. Additional information and training coming in January!
