(Nasdaq: EBAY), the global destination for must-have collectibles, unveils eBay Collected, its year-end shoppable trend report highlighting the athletes, characters, and artifacts that captured global attention and drove collector demand in 2025.
Powered by eBay marketplace data, eBay Collected reveals how 2025's biggest moments - from game-changing athletic performances, to the latest trading card drops and viral toy sensations - were reflected on the marketplace through global searches and sales.

Fans can shop a selection of coveted finds by joining Storage Wars star Rene Nezhoda on eBay Live, where he will open a shipping container with must-have collectibles inspired by eBay Collected. Proceeds from the estimated $100,000 worth of items will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with up to $100,000 additionally matched by eBay. Record-breakers and rising rookies
Rookies like Nick Kurtz (+23,000%) and Jayden Daniels (+1,900%) and record-shattering stars like Shohei Ohtani (+110%) and Alex Ovechkin (+600%) drove collectors seeking pieces of sports history to the eBay search bar.

Cards at the top of the stack
Among the most-searched trading card game set releases of the year were Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions and Pokémon Destined Rivals, as the trading card game continued its run of buzzworthy releases. Meanwhile, Magic: The Gathering Final Fantasy drew in a surge of gamers and collectors alike, making it one of the most searched sets of the year.

Fandoms at the forefront
Blockbuster adaptations, anniversary milestones, and new story arcs put manga and anime connected global fandom on eBay - and the volume of listings reflected the demand, with one million manga listings available on any given day, and significant search spikes for titles like Solo Leveling (+520%) and Apothecary Diaries (+290%).
In July "Superman" was searched more than 2,300x per hour as the blockbuster film sparked the DCU's comeback.

The appeal of adorable
Trending toys that captured hearts and imaginations: the number of ultra-soft Jellycats (+270%) and glow-in-the-dark Smiski figures (+230%) sold climbed, while mischievous Labubu monsters soared in searches (+2,600%), becoming statement pieces and cultural icons.
