A team led by Partners Steven Goldberg and Brian Mulcahy and Associate Cary Jones advised MNP Corporation, Fitzgerald Finishing LLC and Cadon Plating & Coatings, LLC in their global purchase by Gruppo Fontana, a leading Italy-based designer and manufacturer of fastening and assembly solutions. Headquartered in Michigan, MNP is one of the most prolific generational family-owned businesses in the auto supplier sector.
The acquisition of fastener manufacturer MNP Corporation and the two coatings and finishing businesses adds 10 production sites, close to $500 million in revenue and 2,600 employees to Gruppo Fontana's operation.
