Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has expressed profound sorrow and grief over the tragic demise of former Senator Taj Muhammad Afridi in a traffic accident and extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family.

In his condolence message, Chairman Senate stated that the parliamentary, political, and public services of Taj Muhammad Afridi will always be remembered. He remarked that the passing of the former Senator is a significant loss for the nation as well as parliamentary circles.

Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said that the late leader played an important role in promoting public welfare in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, strengthening democratic values, and contributing to the legislative process.
