Promod Sharma and Jyoti Mahajan Inducted into University of Maryland’s Smith School Dean’s Circle

Keystone International Ventures CEO Promod Sharma and Co-Founder Jyoti Mahajan were inducted into the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business Dean's Circle on October 29, 2026.

Held at The Hotel at the University of Maryland in College Park, the celebration brought together honorees, Dean Prabhudev Konana, and the Smith School community to recognize the impact of philanthropy on education.

The Dean's Circle honors households whose cumulative contributions to the University of Maryland total at least $100,000. For Promod and Jyoti, this recognition reflects a deeply personal commitment to expanding educational opportunity.

That commitment is also expressed through the Raj and Savitri Foundation, which Promod established in honor of his parents. The Foundation provides four-year college scholarships to outstanding business students with financial need at George Mason University, Howard University, and the University of Maryland, carrying forward his parents' belief that education is the key to opportunity.

Bringing that mission to life, Promod and Jyoti were introduced by Marwa Paya, a recipient of the Raj and Savitri Sharma Foundation Endowed Scholarship. Her introduction made the evening especially meaningful, offering a personal reminder of the students and futures at the heart of their giving.

Keystone congratulates Promod, Jyoti, and their fellow inductees on this meaningful recognition and their support for the future of business education.
