TRAFFIC ALERT - Kent County - Road Closure on Lion Hope Road
Road Closure on Lion Hope Road
Clayton - The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces the closure of Lion Hope Road between Downs Chapel Road and Sudlersville Road for the replacement of a cross road pipe. Starting on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 6:00 AM through Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM (weather permitting)
Detour - Northbound motorists will use SR-300 Suddlersville Road, then turn left onto Downs Chapel Road, and arrive back at Lion Hope Road.
Southbound motorists will use Downs Chapel Road, then turn right onto SR-300 Suddlersville Road, and arrive back at Lion Hope Road.
