Public Notice: Public Meeting, City of Buffalo, WY, Microfiltration System Module Replacement Project

Notice of Public Meeting, City of Buffalo, WY, Microfiltration System Module Replacement System Project

The Town of the City of Buffalo, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 5:00 p.m., on December 2, 2025, in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 46 N Main, Buffalo, Wyoming. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project:

City of Buffalo Microfiltration System Module Replacement - replacing three modules in the water treatment plant microfiltration system with a new operating protocol provided, as well as an updated system process and instrumentation diagram drawing.

At the meeting, the Town of the City of Buffalo, Wyoming will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at City Hall, 46 N Main, Buffalo, Wyoming. Contact Kevin Silbernagel at (307) 217-2333.

Based on current cost estimates, the Town of the City of Buffalo, Wyoming plans to borrow $1,000,000 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Water fund reserves and user fee increases in the water fund of approximately $1.50/month will repay the loan. Loan terms will be .75% interest rate and 20 years.
