This is your USD News Minute.

The new Palomar Health Student Wellness Center is officially opening tomorrow on April 22. Don't miss the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony at noon, followed by an opportunity to check out all of the new spaces inside. Students can participate in an interactive scavenger hunt through the wellness center and gather free swag along the way. Check out the link for more information.

The Office of Sustainability is hosting events throughout the week in honor of Earth Month. On Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. they are hosting a sustainability career fair to network with professionals in the sustainability space. And, on Thursday at 12:15 at Paseo de Colachis, stop by their annual Picnic for the Planet - roll out a blanket and enjoy music, food and outdoor activities on the lawn. Check out their website for a full list of events each day.

And, mark your calendars for the annual Strawberry Festival -happening on Thursday. Enjoy free strawberry food and beverage samples, music, and a student wrap making contest at 12:30.
