DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern Oklahoma State University has named Dr. Landon Johnson assistant vice president for business affairs.
Johnson joins Southeastern after serving as senior accounting manager for construction accounting and fixed assets with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, where he also worked in business development. Prior to his time with the Choctaw Nation, he held positions with Lockheed Martin and the United States Army.
A native Oklahoman, Landon earned his bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. While at Southeastern, he was active in the Greek system, Honors Program, and True Blue Ambassadors while serving as a student athletic trainer for the Savage Storm football team. During his senior year, he married his wife, Elise, who is also a Southeastern graduate.
Johnson holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Management from Oklahoma Wesleyan University and a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management from Oklahoma State University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma.
His professional expertise includes strategic analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, risk assessment, and operational improvement.
Outside of work, Johnson enjoys spending time with his family, attending concerts, golfing, and playing guitar.
