Rep. Teddy Reese to Hold Press Conference and Present House Resolution to Columbus Police Department

ATLANTA - State Representative Teddy Reese (D-Columbus), along with members of the Columbus Legislative Delegation, will hold a press conference and present a resolution congratulating Chief Stone Mathis and the Columbus Police Department for being named the Georgia Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates' Phyllis Goodwin Agency of the Year. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Columbus Police Department in Columbus, Georgia.

Rep. Reese will be joined by Brittany Santiago, assistant to Chief Mathis and director of Community Affairs, to present House Resolution 1250, legislation sponsored by Rep. Reese that commends and honors Chief Mathis and the Columbus Police Department.
