Investment for Growth in Italy

Since establishing its presence in Italy in September 2003, Salesforce has grown exponentially, creating over 600 direct jobs. Today Salesforce Italy is home to a growing workforce, thousands of customers, and a thriving partner ecosystem.

To support this growth, Salesforce is investing in its Italian team with new roles in data science, agentic AI, and deployment engineering, bringing local expertise to Italian organizations and public administrations pioneering AI transformation.

The new Milan office, located at Palazzo Missori, a premier Grade A development in the heart of Milan's Central Business District, will feature collaborative spaces for customers, partners and employees to design and deploy AI that solves real business challenges. The new location will also serve as a training hub, offering programs focused on AI upskilling, work readiness and a range of community initiatives.

As part of its commitment to AI skills development, Salesforce will launch the Enterprise Architecture Academy - a program designed to accelerate AI readiness across partners and customers. The Academy will initially engage more than 70 participants, including partners, customers, and Salesforce Solution Engineers, building the architectural foundation needed to drive digital transformation across Italy.

"At Salesforce, we are committed to building a future-ready Italy that leads in the agentic AI era. The Enterprise Architecture Academy puts this ambition into action, equipping partners, customers and Salesforce engineers with the skills to thrive." - Vanessa Fortarezza, SVP & Country General Manager, Salesforce Italy

Agentforce Momentum in Italy

Agentforce, Salesforce's agentic AI platform, underpins some of Italy's most recognized organizations, from global brands such as Ferrari, to energy and financial services leaders like Enel and UniCredit, mobility provider Telepass and Italy's lead rail operator, Trenitalia. Salesforce also serves small and medium-sized businesses throughout the country.

In the public sector, Salesforce is the selected technology provider for organizations working to improve outcomes for citizens, including the National Institute for Social Security (INPS), which is using Salesforce to deliver more efficient services for citizens and employees alike.

  • Ferrari uses Salesforce to build a unified, real-time view of its customers, enabling faster decisions and deeper customer relationships.
  • Telepass has automated 84% of customer service responses with Agentforce, freeing its teams to focus on higher-value customer interactions.
  • Trenitalia is deploying Agentforce to support its sales and customer service teams, serving more than 500 million passengers every year.

By handling complexity behind the scenes, Agentforce allows our teams to be more present for customers. This is what digital transformation should look like: technology that elevates our people, empowering them to do what they do best.

Francesco Cacciapuoti, Chief Sales Officer, Trenitalia

"Trenitalia, as Italy's leading rail operator, knows that millions of journeys mean millions of moments where the experience matters. By handling complexity behind the scenes, Agentforce allows our teams to be more present for customers. This is what digital transformation should look like: technology that elevates our people, empowering them to do what they do best." - Francesco Cacciapuoti, Chief Sales Officer, Trenitalia

Giving Back to Italy

Through its 1-1-1 philanthropic model, Salesforce has contributed over $926,000 in all-time giving and over 73,500 volunteer hours to 318 nonprofit and higher education organizations across Italy.

Continuous learning has become more important as Italy's workforce evolves and people pursue longer, more varied careers. Salesforce is partnering with the ELIS, a non-profit consortium of leading companies, educational institutions and civic organizations to promote career longevity for workers over 55 through personalized learning pathways and intergenerational collaboration.

As an official sponsor of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, Salesforce launched 'Now to Next' alongside Randstad Italia and Samsung - a reskilling program helping elite athletes transition their skills into the modern workforce.

"Athletes spend years mastering skills and capabilities that the modern workforce needs. Through our partnership with Salesforce, we built something that helps athletes see themselves not as stepping away from sport, but into their next chapter." - Valentina Marchei, Italian figure skating champion and Ambassador Programme Lead for Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026
