From safeguarding maritime approaches against underwater threats to enabling complex diving operations and advancing autonomous technologies, the Australian Defence Force relies on a diverse portfolio of specialized maritime capabilities to support national security missions.

KBR has been selected to help sustain these critical systems under the Diving, Autonomous and Signatures System Program Office (DASSPO) Capability Life Cycle Management (CLCM) contract.

Working in partnership with Defence and industry, KBR will provide sustainment support across Defence's Mine Warfare, Diving and Hyperbaric Assets, Autonomous Systems and Signature Management Assets. The initial 3-year contract valued at approximately AUD12 million commenced on August 1.

The contract sustains approximately 30 jobs in the Lower North Shore region of Sydney, and uses a Contract Standing Capability model to enable a highly flexible workforce, responsive to mission requirements.

Under the contract, KBR will provide asset management, engineering, maintenance and supply chain services to support the ongoing evolution, availability and performance of these mission-critical capabilities for the Royal Australian Navy and Australian Army.

Delivered by a team of highly skilled professionals, the contract will leverage KBR's deep local expertise while drawing on the company's broader national and global capabilities in asset management.

Building on more than 15 years of partnership with the Royal Australian Navy, KBR will apply its proven CLCM approach to deliver a flexible, efficient and integrated sustainment solution.
