Government Raises RON97, RON95 And Diesel Retail Prices From 5 March 2026 To 11 March 2026

Following the recent climb in global oil prices, the Government has set the retail prices of RON97 at RM3.25 per litre, non-subsidised RON95 at RM2.67 per litre, and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia at RM3.12 per litre from 5 March 2026 to 11 March 2026.

The Government will continue to review and adjust petrol RON97, RON95 and diesel retail prices in line with movements in the current global oil markets. Even so, price stability remains the foremost priority.

Using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, retail prices for petroleum products from 5 March 2026 to 11 March 2026 are:

  1. RON97 petrol rises by 10 sen to RM3.25 per litre;

  2. Non-subsidised RON95 petrol rises by 8 sen to RM2.67 per litre;

  3. Subsidised RON95 petrol under BUDI95 remains at RM1.99 per litre;

  4. Diesel in Peninsular Malaysia rises by 8 sen to RM3.12 per litre; and

  5. Diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains at RM2.15 per litre.

The Government will continue monitoring global oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure people's welfare remains intact.
