Initial Report: Track Washout Derailment near Laguna, NM (Gallup Subdivision)

On Saturday, October 24, 2026 at approximately 05:20 P.M. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a track washout near Laguna, NM which affected the main track. BNSF field personnel responded and assessed the derailment site. The estimated opening of main track 2 is October 25, 2026 at 08:00 P.M CDT. The estimated opening of main track 1 is October 25, 2026 at 02:00 A.M CDT.
