Passing of Former State Representative Judy Manning
ATLANTA - The Georgia House of Representatives mourns the recent passing of former State Representative Judy Manning. Former State Representative Manning served in the House from 1997-2012, representing Cobb County.
"Dayle and I are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former State Representative Judy Manning," said House Speaker Jon Burns. "Chairlady Manning's years of dedicated and passionate service to her community undoubtedly created a brighter future not only for her constituents in Cobb County, but for the entire state of Georgia. Our prayers remain with her family and loved ones during this difficult time."
Former State Representative Manning represented House District 34 in the Georgia House of Representatives and chaired committees for the Department of Natural Resources, Child Services and Appropriations.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 3 - 5 p.m. and from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Historic Marietta Chapel (180 Church Street NE, Marietta, GA 30060). The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at the Historic Marietta Chapel.
