DETROIT - Wayne State University continues to gain national recognition for the strength and impact of its graduate and professional programs, with several disciplines ranked among the nation's best in the 2026 edition of U.S. News & World Report's Best Graduate Schools.
Among the highlights, Wayne State's nursing and law programs stood out with strong national placements, reflecting the university's commitment to academic excellence, student success and real-world impact.
The College of Nursing's master's program ranked No. 22 nationally, and its doctor of nursing practice program ranked No. 41. "These rankings reflect the dedication of our faculty, students and staff and our mission to provide high-quality, accessible education that prepares graduates to lead and serve in their professions," Wayne State President Richard A. Bierschbach said. "We are proud to see our programs recognized for their excellence and impact."
