Weathering the Winter, Safely
"Preparation is the key to success." As winter rolls in, these wise words from Alexander Graham Bell are ringing in our ears and we're gearing up to keep you and your home comfortable and fuel-filled throughout the season. Safety is our number one priority here at AmeriGas, and it's the perfect time to share some tips to help prepare you, and your propane service, to safely and successfully navigate any winter weather that may be coming our way.

This Fall, AmeriGas employees and our colleagues at UGI banded together in support of the United Way and a number of breast cancer research organizations - all of which are doing critically important work to improve and even save lives in the communities we serve.
Thanks to the high rate of employee participation - a whopping 76% - we were able to raise nearly $340,000 for the United Way in September. And with our October "Pink Out" events, sponsored by our Women's Impact Network (WIN), we were able to raise more than $7,000 to further continued education and research around breast cancer, which, according to the American Cancer Society, accounts for more than 30% of all new female cancer cases annually.
