The City of Green Bay is pleased to announce the completion of the Country Club Road improvement project, a critical corridor connecting West Mason Street and Indian Hill Drive and serving Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, local neighborhoods, and key business destinations. To mark this significant achievement, the City will host a brief press conference and ribbon-cutting ceremony at the project site.
Over the past year, Country Club Road underwent comprehensive reconstruction, including new concrete pavement, improved asphalt overlays, upgraded curbs and gutters, enhanced storm sewer systems, and expanded sidewalks to support both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The project focused on long-term durability, safety, and accessibility for residents and visitors. Throughout construction, careful planning minimized traffic disruptions and restored property access as promptly as possible.
Mayor Eric Genrich and City officials will join representatives from the Department of Public Works, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, and community stakeholders for the celebration. The event will highlight the collaboration between city departments, WisDOT, local businesses, and engineering partners who contributed to the successful completion of the $5 million project, funded through local and state sources.
Residents, students, and business owners are encouraged to attend and recognize the renewed role of Country Club Road in supporting economic growth, educational access, and neighborhood connectivity in Green Bay.
