CONCORD, NH - On Friday, Governor Kelly Ayotte joined members of the greater Derry community and leadership from The Common Man Roadside to celebrate the opening of their newest location.
"It's always great to see a New Hampshire business expand, create jobs, and strengthen our economy - especially one that happens to make some of the best apple cider donuts around," said Governor Ayotte. "I want to congratulate The Common Man Roadside team on the opening of their new location, and I thank them for their commitment to growing in the Granite State."
"We launched The Common Man Roadside because travelers deserve fresh, local, and fast options that truly represent New Hampshire," said Brad Pernaw, Managing Partner of The Common Man Roadside. "Opening our Derry location is another milestone in our commitment to growing the state's economy, serving our communities, and promoting the many New Hampshire businesses that are part of our story. To have the opportunity to build this brand and grow it in a way that gives back to New Hampshire-it's something I'm incredibly proud of and has been a dream come true."
This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the State of New Hampshire's partnership with The Common Man Roadside locations at the Hooksett Welcome Centers on I-93. This public-private partnership has generated over $21 million in revenue for the State.
