City of Lancaster Announces 2026 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza Featuring LANCO and Joei Strader

Lancaster, CA. June 30, 2026 - The City of Lancaster invites the community to celebrate Independence Day and honor America's 250th anniversary at the 2026 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza on Saturday, July 4, at the AV Fair & Event Center.

This annual community celebration will feature live entertainment, food vendors, family-friendly activities, and one of the region's largest fireworks displays. Admission to the fairgrounds is free, giving residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy an evening of patriotic celebration and summer fun together.

Country music group LANCO will headline the evening with a live concert at 7 p.m. inside the Palmdale Auto Mall Arena, following a special opening performance by Lancaster native and former The Voice contestant Joei Strader. Guests interested in reserved grandstand seating can purchase tickets in advance. Gates to the fairgrounds open at 5 p.m., with grandstands opening at 6 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at approximately 9 p.m.

Families are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy food trucks, entertainment, and activities throughout the evening before the fireworks spectacular lights up the Antelope Valley sky.

"The Fourth of July is a time for us to come together as one community and celebrate the freedom, courage, and sacrifice that built this nation," said Mayor R. Rex Parris. "As we honor America's 250th anniversary, this celebration is a reminder of how fortunate we are to live in a country where families can gather, neighbors can celebrate, and communities like Lancaster can continue building a stronger future. I invite everyone to join us for a safe, joyful evening honoring our nation and the people who make Lancaster such a special place to call home."

We would like to thank our generous sponsors and community partners for helping make this year's celebration possible, including WM, AVTA, Toyota of Lancaster, Edward's Federal Credit Union and High Desert Broadcasting.
