Kudos Across America – Newport News, Virginia

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received from Supervisory TSA Officer Johnathon Wilkes at Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF).

Due to a flight delay, I had the opportunity to speak with Officer Wilkes regarding the situation. While I understand that delays are inevitable, Officer Wilkes went above and beyond his responsibilities to answer my questions, provide helpful information and guide me through the process.

His professionalism, pleasant demeanor and positive attitude were truly refreshing. In my 20 years of frequent business travel, I have encountered many TSA professionals, and Officer Wilkes stands out as one of the best. I believe his dedication and positive approach significantly enhance the passenger experience at PHF.

I also wanted to say that this airport and staff in general is fantastic and hope that leadership continually looks at opportunities to keep this airport open.
