2026 Smart Living Space Creative Competition: Awards & Sharing Session

The Architecture and Building Research Institute, Ministry of the Interior, ROC (Taiwan), in accordance with the Executive Yuan's technology policy, has launched a creative competition for smart living spaces, leveraging Taiwan's international advantages in the ICT industry. The competition has accumulated over 3,640 entries. In 2026, the competition will continue to invite innovative proposals from all sectors to create livable and human-centered smart living spaces.

The competition is open for submissions from July 8th to September 18th, 2026. It is divided into two groups: the Creative Concepts Group and the Future Nest Group. Each category will award one Gold, one Silver, and one Bronze Prize, along with a total of seven Special and Merit Awards. The total prize pool amounts to NT$460,000. This year, the competition has received 39 proposals from young students in the Creative Concepts Group and 10 proposals from industry in the Future Nest Group. An awards ceremony and sharing session will be held on December 2nd, 2026. All are welcome to attend.
